The event, running 3rd-8th August 2024. will be held in Greve, Denmark, just a short distance from Copenhagen. White sand beaches, modern amenities and expectations of 120 boats on the start lines in the Sport and Pro fleets - it's going to be a Worlds to remember!
In addition to an amazing sailing location at Koge Bay, the legendary Danish hospitality will be in full swing for the many international sailors that will be participating, and the family and friends that will be accompanying them. Plans are underway to provide spectator boats for up close viewing.
Sejlklubben Køge Bugt is located within Greve Marina and has been a key part of the sailing community since 1977. With modern facilities, a hospitable spirit and access to a fantastic sailing area, the club is the ideal choice to host the RS Tera World Championship 2024.
Sailors in the RS Tera Pro fleet must be aged 19 or under as of December 31st 2024, while those racing in the RS Tera Sport fleet need to be 16 or under on December 31st. Entry fees: Early Bird: €300 per boat for entry on or before midnight on March 1st, 2024. Normal Entry: €450 per boat for all entries received from March 2nd, 2024.
Check in starts at 1400 on Saturday August 3rd, with equipment checks, practice racing and coaching taking place on the 4th. Four days of racing will then commence on Monday, August 5th, with a series of 12 races scheduled. The awards ceremony will round-off the event after racing on Thursday, August 8th.
