Socal RS Tera fleets are on a roll with yet another record turnout for the Oceanside Yacht Club's annual Poinsettia Regatta. Beautiful light air conditions, great viewing for parents and Poinsettias for all the families. Huge thanks to Dana Point Harbor Youth Foundation for seven charter Teras sailed by first year racers from Westlake Yacht Club. OYC Program Director Tim Zimmermann says this is the largest turnout at a Poinsettia Regatta since 2008 when it was a SDAYC Luff-in and Sabots ruled the waves. That's 3 events in a row for the Series with over 30 competitors, last year we averaged 22. Next up Super Bowl Charity Regatta on Feb 3rd at Santa Monica Windjammers YC.
