The USA 🇺🇸 delegation to the 2023 RS Tera World Championships hosted by Associazione Nautica Sabina on Lake Iseo Italy consists of Adela Jackson, Molly Brown and Xyler Yee, all hailing from Oceanside Yacht Club in San Diego California. They will join 63 other sailors from 6 countries to compete for the RS Tera World Championships, and are very excited to meet new friends as well as enjoy Italian scenery, hospitality and charm.

Adela Jackson
Hi, my name is Adela Jackson, I am 14 years old and I live in Encinitas, California. I started sailing over the summer of 2020 and have kept at it. I really enjoy the sport and what my coaches have taught me about racing. I have been doing local regattas and have sailed in CFJs and competed at Southern California regattas in Lidos and RS Teras. I really enjoy spending time on the beaches and in the water of Italy. I am excited to do my first international regatta representing Oceanside, California USA.
Molly Brown
Hi, my name is Molly Brown, I am 11 years old and live in Encinitas Ca. I started sailing at Oceanside Yacht club in the summer of 2021 and have been taking classes and camps there ever since. My coaches have taught me a lot about racing RS Teras this last year and I’ve participated in local regattas and 4 other Southern California races. I am really excited for the opportunity to sail in Italy and meet kids from all over the world while having a lot of fun. I’m also hoping to eat pasta and gelato everyday!
Xyler Yee
Hi, I'm Xyler Yee, a 14 year-old sailing out of Oceanside Yacht Club. I've been sailing for 4 and a half years. I've been improving with my great coaches. Excited to be in Italy, eat great food, see cool sights, and most of all ... SAIL!!
